Hair extensions at Milly's

Went with a gd fren to Milly's at Far East for new hair extension, got 3 layers, with 240 strands at $1 each, feels slightly heavy and uncomfortable, not used to so many strands, the previous times i had only ard 150 pieces, oh well, good thing Milly's is having a promotion, for 100 strands, they give 50 free.



Trying out a necklace, isn't it just gorgeous, comes with a ring, bracelet and earings, and quite expensive too, dunno if it'll go well with my gown but i dun care, i just gotta get it.. :)

Went to the hotel to make some final arrangements, got some very pretty pics of the ballroom, different lightings and of cos the all famous black table cloths and sit covers, parents and bf dun approve of the black linen so i'm taking white, dunno how it'll look, but i'm sure it won't b as nice as the black. We'll see on the 15.10.10 :)

Oh yes, did i tell u that we're having 300 poloraroids on the dinner, so fun!!. See u!!

Wedding shopping with mum

Went Daiso with mummy today, look!! Halloween stuff, so cool, never been to a halloween party though.

A must buy tit bits for my darling at daiso, so many flavours too!!
And then we went to Spotlight

Isn't this cute, a bachelorette kit, haha, but i'm not having a hens party, i really dun see the need to, a rather spent whatever time i have with darling, dunno what he thinks though, if he really wants a bachelor party, (for i dunno what reason) then go ahead, no problem. ( i thnk i won't be 100% happy with it la)

DIY wedding kit, too bad i've already made my cards ( this comes in a box of 10 and cost $20)

Woo, tiaras and gloves, cool stuff, i hope Venus has nice tiaras..

Bought some pearls too, ok i gotta go, see u soon, gg to fetch dar from work, and then we're gg to the airport for ice cream!! :):):)

Oh look, cuppies, so gorgeous!!! What i sight rite? all these pics from the same creator, based in UK, Although i dun need cupcakes, it's a must for any wedding i think, only got 50 pieces la just for fun, i hope my will turn out as pretty, or at least half as pretty, and i'll be elated!! :)

Yup i'm happy with myself, managed to confirm some vendors within a day, got the:

• Wedding band for entertainment- Khairi musician 2 piece band 3 sets
• ROM cake from pine gardens- 2 tier cake 2 flavours serves 50 pax, shld be below $400, got GDL 10 boxes for $80
• Wedding cupcakes for my candy corner- 50 blue chocolate cupcakes for $215 including rental of stand and delivery
• MUA for ROM- only $100 for everything, including hairstyle, makeup, ampoule, eyelashes, lending of accessories, of cos no trial la...
• Emailed liffery from venus to show her the hairstyles i want
• Got fujifilm film for my "polaroid" camera 300 pieces for $309. this is for our AD dinner, each guest has one shot.. :)

More stuff to be done, cannot be too happy with myself yet, will be happiest on our wedding night, when everything is done and over!! haha, see u guys soon

I'm alittle bit troubled n feeling fustrated by limitations and things that is out of our control. Having a limited budget is one of our major problems, not enough money means we have to put up with difficult, very opinionate family that act like bosses, and we have to bear with their irrational nonsense, endless demands and hurting criticisms. The worst thing is to see the htb getting very affected by all this rubbish and not able to do or fight back becos we need their money, or do we? I really feel like not taking other pple $ and finding a way out for ourselves, for exm, applying for afew more credit cards and getting in debts before we even started our journey tgh.......

So enough of the heavy stuff, let me tell u our endeavours yesterday, we went for pre marriage counselling yesterday, topic was abt good communication, i dun think that is a prob for us now, ya, we can tell each other everything comfortably. Left two more sessions to go, yeah... can;t wait for the dealing with in-law topic... haha, i really need that wisdom..

After counselling, we went to check out the balloon shop!! Choosed our pink, sliver, dark blue and light blue balloons and streamers, actually now we have a prob, having free hanging helium balloons in the hotel is going to b a prob so we have to think of smt else, maybe a balloon arch or balloon pillars, but in doing that i might take the risk of the place looking too indian.

Next up, meeting with coordinators of the hotel and food tasting

I'll always remember this pic of the ballroom, while looking at the pretty sight, at the same time, i'm thinking, THIS IS NOT REALLY OUR WEDDING... ;( I can't do what i want, from the colours of the linen to every single food choice, to our gown and our pics, everything! WE CAN NEVER PLEASE YOU, AND I DUN CARE!

Food tasting feedback form. Quite happy with HI service, we were treated like royals.

Head and tail of fish with a lesson- Grandma says the head and tail of the fish is impt and we must do everything in completion not halfway, if we have a head we must have a tail.. haha.. how true.

Bridal shoes n gowns

Recently, my mom brought me to Leapin Lazard, what i weird name for a shoe shop rite, dun get it, oh well, first impression of the shop was that it was old n dusty, lots and lots of shoes cramp tgh on the shelves, and most of their shoes that were sample pieces were already turning yellow and stained. Very ordinary place with extraordinary price! Very pricey man, $200 plus for my mum shoes and $400 for smt i like. CMI, they do mostly custom make shoes, choose design, colour, material, and height of heels. 3and half inches and above for a higher prices. Shoes take a mth to make and u have to come for a separate fitting, so troublesome and have to wait so long!! They do express service at a price, smt like diff prices for diff timing, from $15 wait time 3 wks to $50, dun have to wait so long...



Of cos i din get anything from them, went to city sq mall bought 5 pairs of heels, 3 for me, 2 for mummy for--------- $335... haha... i'm cheap!

Did i tell u, i went for yet another fitting and selection of gowns at venus, i'm quite a difficult bride to be u know, but i think venus's service is great, no complains, my frens say its only bcos i paid quite abit, $14 000Rm.. haha.. oh well, show u bridesmaid gown, i get to choose two short gowns for my frens, but dun think much of them, think i just might swop them for two coats.

Me, trying gowns again, never happy with what i have...

These are nice but i din take them, u can have them if u wan ( to all Venus brides) haha
