Isn't the Crystal ballroom magnificant?? Love it to bits... it was the deciding factor for me... have u seen this ballroom? Theres this intelligent lighting system, you can choose from 4 colours. The pink, gold dust, lavender and blue... The ballroom is newly renovated, i think in sept... Goin to sign the contract with them this fri, $2500 deposit... hai... more money spent... but @2.5k is the least amt of deposit i've seen so far, comparing with all the other hotels, their deposit is 3k and above.. i like HIPV alot, wedding coordinator is lovely too.. wedding package super comprehensive (the best i've seen), and coordinator willing to accomodate to our request,her answer was always a yes to my requests... tell u more about the package k.. $1045 for a table of 10 and 9 course dinner, min 25tables...
Apart from the boring usual that other places are offering:

What my lovely coordinator/hotel is giving me:
- $1000 off package
- 1 extra bottles of wine per table-total 2
- 1 extra bottle of wine in my room
- 1kg cake in room
- Connecting suite to the deluxe room
- Free extention of the day room to night
- If i need more then 80% cards, she will give for free
- If i need more then 30% parking lots, she will give for free
- 2 VIP parking lots infront of hotel
- Warmed up wedding food can be sent up to my room
- Special rate for suite if i wanna extent one more nite
- And bcos i book during their open house, i won a 2 night stay at Holiday Inn Silom Bangkok!! :)
So basically i need not pay anything more then the $1045 per table... no more extra charges, i hope!!
Now I still need her help, i need to ask for:
- Early check in and late check out
- Free usage of hall in the day for tea ceremony
- Free or discounted buffet bf for 2nd and 3rd persons
- Highest floor suite facing park
- Free 2 kids to join 1 table
- 3-4 colours of lights change
- Replace me with smt else if i dun get their wedding favour
- Complimentary hotel video taking of march in
Still have alot of questions, will ask her on friday, one major prob is that if u look at the pics, u can see that black table cloth and black seat covers look good together, prob is that parents dun really approve, future in-laws will definitely not be happy also.. hai, traditions and culture is a real headache...
